God reveals Himself

It is very difficult to serve a God whom you don’t know; it is also difficult to follow a God whom you don’t understand.

Because of this, God is always in a business of revealing Himself to His people. He is not a God who enjoys hiding himself; but He enjoys revealing Himself.

If we read from the book of Genesis 1:1 the Bible says. In the beginning, God created….. Let’s look at this scripture, the Bible itself is revealing a certain mystery here.
It doesn’t tell us where God was before He created, or where He was when He was creating. But the first thing the Bible does is to introduce/reveal the one behind everything.

When people now needed salvation Jesus Christ came, and the Bible tells us that “He came to His own, but His own didn’t accept Him” (John 1:11).

He reveals Himself because He loves His people. So there is no way He is going to keep hiding from the one He loves. And after He has revealed Himself, He must give a word that requires a person to hear.

So we sometimes not being able to notice when,when and how He would reveal Himself. That will not stop Him from revealing Himself (John 1:11)

There is a time when we expected a certain sign for us to know whether God was with us or not. And after we saw nothing, we ended up in confusion or some of us quited what they had started. If only we had known that God maybe had given a sign different from the one we were seeking. It is like we seeked a sign when a different sign was already given but we were not ready to see. And what if that silence in itself was a sign given.

What we think that might not be a sign, may actually be a sign

For God to speak, He must first reveal Himself in a certain way that will require you to turn and hear.

Moses a servant of God, after he ran out of Egypt, to Midian. He turned to be the sheep keeper for Jethro. Also with David. ( Do we know that even that act of looking after sheep was an indication of his calling). And one day an Angel of the Lord appeared to him as a burning bush. And he said in his heart “Let me turn and see this great sight”. And when He turned is when now God called him, (not even an Angel that was busy burning), but God spoke. After Moses responded to a sign that was given.

What about us?

We have a sure sign that we are children of God. We have the Holy Spirit

Romans 8:16
[16] The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:

👆🏻👆🏻👆🏻👆🏻This in itself qualifies you to hear from God. And to know exactly what He has to say and when is He saying it. God reveals Himself in you, through the HOLY SPIRIT. 😂😂 And yet we are busy looking for any other signs out there😂😂. HOLY SPIRIT is a quick sign for you. He answers your questions even before you think of asking.
