DISCERNING THE SPIRIT OF WISDOM (Episode 02~B)

[18]Then answered one of the servants, and said, Behold, I have seen a son of Jesse the Bethlehemite, that is cunning in playing, and a mighty valiant man, and a man of war, and prudent in matters, and a comely person, and the LORD is with him.

Ndipo akajibu mmoja wa watumishi wake akasema, Tazama, nimemwona mwana mmoja wa Yese, Mbethlehemi, aliye stadi wa kupiga kinubi, tena ni mtu shujaa, hodari wa vita, anenaye kwa busara, mtu mzuri, ambaye BWANA yu pamoja naye.

If you read from verse 14. Saul was Left by the spirit of God. And after the demons were tormenting him very hardly, now faithful servants came to him, asking him that they should look for him another servant who was much skilled than they were.

These doesn’t mean that in the palace there were no musicians, musicians were there, and they were always in the palace during feastings and celebrations even when the King was resting.

They were hired by the King to work in the palace, specifically in the field of music.

And servants came to the king so that the King could let them look for a very talented musician, apart from the ones in the palace.

Imagine if it were you, an employee, and you hear such a statement😂😂, it means that you are less qualified.

Kiasi kwamba mtu anaenda kutafutwa nje. it means that you are not very good at that job, bado unapwaya, sometimes it seems very risky because your job can be at risk, you might loose it

But here is wisdom. Do you know that you can be qualified at a certain place of work, not because you are good in that job, but because you are good at locating more qualified people and bring them. That makes you very useful to your boss. And you can even get promoted for that

So that next time don’t struggle to compete for positions, just look for qualified people, those that are more qualified than you are, your boss won’t fire you for that, kuliko akitafuta mwenyewe

And one servant, who was very good in Discerning stood and said I have seen a son of Jesse… that is more skilled in playing , “..a mighty valiant man and a man of war and prudent in matters and a comely person…

Look at this..we are only looking for a person who is very skilled in playing here, but the characters given are far more beyond our qualification requirements…

We don’t need a battle guy, we don’t need mtu mwenye mwili mkakamavu, we don’t need decision makers The King is only looking for a best musician not a warrior🤔

Can I explain something here🤔

In the palace there were skilled musicians, but their music could not help the king because their personalities were not fit for the job

Whenever you play the piano at the church service, what touches people, what connects them with the spirit of God is not how skilled you are in music.

When music flows from your spirit, it passes through your personality first before your hands could hit the right keys

Your lifestyle, your personality can resist the flow
It doesn’t matter how good you are at music

Hawajui gharama ipi imetumika katika ulimwengu wa roho kuandaa ibada hiyo

I’m very serious about this because even I myself have experienced it.

😂😂by the way if you don’t know, I am a pianist as well, and I was not that serious taught under people. But the moment I sat on the piano and begin to play, even if I don’t know what I am playing at that moment I do see people bursting in tongues.

And prayers could go for too long during that moment.
So this is plain clear at least learn from this.

So that servant Never saw David fighting, Never and yet he said a valiant man, a man of war

Never heard David making critical decisions and he said prudent in matters
And the most painful and exiting part is that The Lord is with him imagine saying that statement to the King who has been left by the same God. It is like telling him that “The Lord who has just left you, is with him”

Discernment Discernment, Discernment. Servant of the King Saw the spirit of wisdom in David even before experiencing David making any critical decision and he said “… prudent in matters..”
