THE GIFT OF DISCERMENT

How do you develop yourself as a spirit to test other spiririts?

Remember that I said yesterday that “it takes a spirit to notice the presence of another spirit”
We are taught to test every spirit, but not on how we can test them by using what intelligence.
There is one important thing that we must know as believers. That discerment of spiririts is the only gift that requires you to marture.

Testing spiririts means putting spiririts in a scale, weighing spiririts
Putting spiririts in a measure

And for you you to be able to do this there is a need for you to gather as much as information as you can concerning spiririts. To an extent that you become a master over spiririts.
There are some spiririts that are very easy to discern, yet there are some that are very tricky. That requires much understanding to discern.
But how do you get that understanding? “By living the word of God.”

By dwelling in the word of God
I said that the word of God is very important. Actually you can get it by reading your Bible ( not just reading but STUDYING the Bible)

2. The presence of the Holy Spirit

Before getting to the Holy Spirit, there is a part that I would love you to understand

You are a spirit, living in the flesh. This is number one qualification that allows you to notice the existence of other spirits

Since you are a spirit you can notice other spirits too

You will only test spirits according to your level, when another spirit comes that operates in a manner that you not familiar with, or in a way that seems friendly are you able to discern that?

But thank God we have a helper, The Holy Spirit

The gift of discerment is there even to test other gifts, to test someone’s leave of marturity in the Lord, to test spirits
For example you can know how much someone has grown up in the Lord, by discerning his (the person’s) spirit.

For you to become smart in Discerment you must come across other spirits to know their operations
It needs an experience,

Today you have the Bible, and yet with the Bible in your hands, you are like a babe, you are being deceived very easily very easily, until you come to ask yourself questions after finding yourself in danger “how did I come here?”

Hear this how is it possible that a very beautiful girl, a church girl that we expect to be very smart, with her Bible and prayers,. We only come to be shocked that she is having an affair with a boy that doesn’t even value salvation,? How come good girls are easily caught in the traps of bad boys?

And yet with that level of childishness, they want to discern the false prophets😅😅

Ask them about servants of God, they will tell you the false ones as if they are the ones who called them into the ministry

The false guy came who knows nothing about the value of a woman, busy and lusting for fornication. Yet they couldn’t discern that they are false ones. Yet they want to measure spirits.

With how big your Bible is brother, you find yourself in wrong relationship, and you are busy thinking that you are are smart enough to discern spirits.

We have religious leaders who are giving heartbreaking statements in the church “go for vaccines” forgetting the power of Jesus to heal.

Why do we have believers who are so ignorant of some things? Yet we are going to church, we have our bibles, and we saying that we have an advantage

In the old testament we see people like Abraham, people who walked with God and never bothered at anytime with demons of deception. They never had the Bible, they never went to church, Abraham never attended Sunday services, he was not a seventh day Adventist. Yet He stands as the icon of faith.

The issue is that we have an advantage but we are not open to be trained by Him, we are still holding onto our own theology.

We think we know much, yet we have known nothing yet

May God help us to humble ourselves to understand His Truth,
