Day 3

SIGNIFICANCE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT

Let us take our readings from the book of John 16:13
[13] Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth: for he shall not speak of himself; but whatsoever he shall hear, that shall he speak: and he will shew you things to come.

We live in a world which is full of deception. Deception is almost everywhere including the church

The devil has strived to make sure that he plants his seed everywhere. Be it politics, technology, business, education, religion,. Almost every place is full of deception.
That it is quite difficult to know which is the right colour and which is the wrong colour

What the devil is doing is putting a lie between two truths so that it will become difficult for you to discover.

What did I say… “The devil puts a lie between two truths”. And then wraps it as one thing. If you are not careful you might end up consuming the whole thing. Only coming to discover that you have consumed a poison

You need a certain level of smartness to be able to discern the sand within the rice

You need to be a bit smart to be able to discern the deception, so that you can pick it out of your entire system, be it education or health or economy.

The devil is feeding on your ignorance to deceive you

Deception is as a result of the presence of ignorance ( lack of knowledge)

If only a cow would have known that it’s destination is the butchery. It wouldn’t have stayed at the market waiting for the buyer. It would have found a way to escape. But because the cow is ignorant concerning it’s destination it stays there, if the buyer has not come, it will wait for the next market, only coming to see itself in the hands of a slaughterer.

So the devil tries to put a lie between two truths, and you will be just attracted by truths in the beginning and the end of statement but you will not be able to discover the lie that has been placed in between

Do you know that what is destroying you is not even deception, but your ignorance?
Your failure to know, is what is killing you

Shouting that the devil is deceiving, won’t stop the devil from deceiving people

“My people perish for lack of knowledge” so says the scripture

Deception is just there, what will make it weak is the light you are able to put into the hearts of people
And that is what the Holy Spirit is doing with you all along
Busy training you, so that the knowledge you have got from Him and in Him should act as an armor against deception.
As much as we have very ignorant guys on the planet, still the devil will deceive many

As much as deception is a spirit, don’t think that because someone is the president ( we have intelligent fools nowadays😂😂), or an intellect or a religious leader ( A religious leader is not a spiritual leader).

Foolishness has nothing to do with intelligence, but wisdom has something to do against foolishness

A religious leader, is not actually a spiritual leader. Some religious leaders are there just because they have certificates for masters in theology. But a spiritual leader is known by his obedience to the Holy Spirit, because his calling is by God Himself and not certificates
