WHAT IS “TRUTH”?

---

There is this particular verse in the Bible when Jesus appeared before Pontius Pilate, and Pilate asked Him this question. “What is Truth?”

John 18:37
[37]Pilate therefore said unto him, Art thou a king then? Jesus answered, Thou sayest that I am a king. To this end was I born, and for this cause came I into the world, that I should bear witness unto the truth. Every one that is of the truth heareth my voice.

Basi Pilato akamwambia, Wewe u mfalme basi? Yesu akajibu, Wewe wasema, kwa kuwa mimi ni mfalme. Mimi nimezaliwa kwa ajili ya haya, na kwa ajili ya haya mimi nalikuja ulimwenguni, ili niishuhudie kweli. Kila aliye wa hiyo kweli hunisikia sauti yangu.

Jesus is talking to Pilate, and He says “I came into the world to bear witness unto the Truth”

Now look at this conversation very well, look at it very well😊
But before this answer there was a question that was asked
And the question required Jesus to say whether He was a King or not

And in verse 36 Jesus is not refusing what He is saying is this “My kingdom is not of this world….” That is not really a “denying statement”.

Because remember that Jesus if it was not for the Roman government, colonizing Israel, He would have definitely been a King.

So Pilate is not taking Jesus as Jews took him, but He is in a desire to hold a political meeting with Jesus. He takes Jesus as a fellow politician.

What Pilate wanted to find out was Jesus’ right of kingship

In the kingship line of the Jews. So this was like a negotiation between two states. And Pilate was very interested in that.

Pilate wanted to know some secrets from Jewish politics

So after Jesus said that His kingdom was not of this world Pilate wasn’t satisfied with that, He continued asking Him the same question repeatedly in verse 37 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻

John 18:37

Look at that answer again, Jesus is still not refusing, but now talks about kingship on Earth, and He says “for this cause I was born into the world”

So it now a political challenge, and now the main topic is the motive behind Jesus’rulership and Pilate’s rulership.

And Jesus position was after “TRUTH” and this thing challenged Pilate because, most political systems don’t follow Truth, they promote deception.
And we see Pilate wanting to grasp something, maybe that is not what Pilate used to. The government system that rules by Truth.

And then he asked Jesus “What is TRUTH?”

John 18:38
[38]Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.

Pilato akamwambia, Kweli ni nini? Naye akiisha kusema neno hilo akawatokea Wayahudi tena, akawaambia, Mimi sioni hatia yo yote kwake.

But Pilate didn’t wait for an answer to his question. Yet we have the reality to that.

In many places in the Bible, we see Jesus making statements like “I am the way, “Truth” and life”

John 14:6
[6]Jesus saith unto him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life:” no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Now let’s cover some scriptures here quick👇🏻👇🏻
John 8:32
[32] And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.

Look at this again

John 8:36
[36] If the Son therefore shall make you free, ye shall be free indeed.

So Jesus is the Truth, meaning that even governments can not rule well without Jesus. Any government which neglects Jesus in their political issues. Any government that thinks that Jesus is a Christian figure, that kind of government is ruling under deception feeding it’s citizens deception in the name of science. Training witchcraft saying it is technology.

Don’t think that you can trust such a government which is undermining Jesus. Listen they will not care for you the way Jesus does, even if they say that they are after the welfare of their citizens, just look at what they are doing, feeding you dangerous vaccines then saying that the government is not responsible for the consequences that will happen after, yet they are blocking some services unless you take it, at the same time telling you that it is at your own free will.

The way to keep a country is only by Jesus.

KEEP A NATION THE JESUS’ WAY

If Jesus was your president, what would he do? If Jesus was the Head of the UN what would he do? Rule according to Jesus’ rulership, not according to your own hunger
