THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE PERMISSIVE WILL OF GOD AND THE PERFECT WILL OF GOD

As a child of God you must understand the position of God in your life. You must see God as a Father ( your parent).

And after you have realized that God is your Father and He cares for you as a Father. Then you must also learn how to live His heartbeat.

The Father means

  1. Source ( God is your source)
  2. Sustainer ( the one who sustains your life – your provider)
  3. Parental instructor ( the one who instructs you in a perfect way to follow)
    • Maturity is when a child gets to understand his/her father, well. And one of the things that you have to understand as a child of God is
    • 1. The character of your Father
    • 2. The will of your Father ( desires of God towards you) Coming to the will of God

πŸ‘‰πŸ»These are the desires that God has for you. The way God looks at you and the picture He has in His mind concerning you. What are the things that God desires you to have? What is a kind of life that God desires you to have?

These are the things you must ask yourself as someone who is after God’s heartbeat. What is it that God ( your father) enjoys to see you achieving?

And once you have achieved that as a child of God, then you have attained maturity and now you have reached a level where you can have access to the mind of God concerning you

God at any point, doesn’t enjoy hiding His mind from His children He likes it when you as His child gets to know what He is thinking.

And as a Father ( your source) He always has a best version of you. There is a way He imagined you before He could create you.

Now reaching a point where you can access His mind is what makes Him happy as a Father. Because He knows that once you have access to His desires you will live after His heartbeat and you won’t be led astray by anything.

There is an advantage that we have as children of God, that is to know His mind

πŸ‘‡πŸ»πŸ‘‡πŸ»πŸ‘‡πŸ»
1 Corinthians 2:16
[16]For who hath known the mind of the Lord, that he may instruct him? But we have the mind of Christ.

Maana, Ni nani aliyeifahamu nia ya Bwana, amwelimishe? Lakini sisi tunayo nia ya Kristo.

It is given unto children to know the mind of their Father. Meaning that in this life and in the kingdom of God you are no longer a stranger. But a grown up.

Now God declares this statement by Himself towards His children as a call for the children to understand Him πŸ‘‡πŸ»πŸ‘‡πŸ»πŸ‘‡πŸ»

Jeremiah 29:11
[11] For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.

Maana nayajua mawazo ninayowawazia ninyi, asema BWANA, ni mawazo ya amani wala si ya mabaya, kuwapa ninyi tumaini siku zenu za mwisho.

After coming across such a scripture as a child of God, there is a need to want to discover the thoughts that God has for you, and once you have discovered them then you live by them ( you make yourself subject to God’s opinion concerning your life)

Now there is a best version of you that God has in His mind, and the moment you discover that and are willing to live exactly after that, then you have discovered the perfect will of God concerning you

Perfect will of God, is when things are done according to perfect God’s desires,. It is when things are done according to the exact way God wants them to be done

But to reach here is only after you have gotten an access to the mind of God concerning you. Then there are things that you will not just do, and there is a certain way of conducting things that you will not follow. Because you have gotten an access to the mind of God concerning you

Now coming to the permissive will of God,

God as a Father, He also knows His children, and there is a way He treats His children, not forcibly but patiently so that all can attain the proper knowledge of Him.

Children sometimes cry over everything even things that can harm them. Now there are things that God permits, not because they are the perfect desires of Him, but because He wants His children to learn if possible by experience.

God can allow something just because you have cried over it for too long.

Israel wanted a King as other nations and denied God’s system of using judges to rule the nation. But because they cried over that for too long, God permitted it.

Remember the story of a prodigal son, he cried over the inheritance until his father decided to give him ( you know what happened later).

In the permissive will of God, God does things because you have cried over them for too long, and He doesn’t guarantee His full support and protection over the matter. He is almost not responsible for what will happen next.

But in the perfect will, God is ready to fight for you and defend you for His name’s sake, because He can’t fail Himself.
