Let’s get into this scripture then I am going to explain something here to you child of God.

Psalms 124:8
[8] Our help is in the name of the LORD, who made heaven and earth.
I really love what this verse is telling us
If you look at the world today, it is messed up.
Almost everyone you are going to meet out there needs help. The rich, the poor, the average, those in offices, governments, and those in the streets. All of them if you look at them you will notice something ‘they need help ‘
College and university scholars need help, young people need help
It’s like everyone has got their own struggles and they need someone to come to their rescue.
People are stranded in every dimension of their lives, and the only cry you are going to hear from them is “HELP”
Some of them were disappointed before and they need help to come out of that dramatic life
Some are financially down and they need help to overcome that barrier
Some are rejected by their families and they need someone who can help them overcome such rejection, they need someone who would receive them
Those with money are also suffering, they don’t enjoy their prosperity, they have marriage issues, they never found faithful partners. It’s like everyone around them is an hypocrite, who only love them for their money. They need someone they could rely on and trust.
Some force themselves to be so cruel, it’s just because they are surrounded by many people who are not true to them. They have passed a very bitter experience in life and they don’t trust anyone.
There is always one cry you are going to hear from people around you “help”. There are people who came into their lives and promised them help but the same disappointed them.
You are disappointed today because of someone you thought could come to your rescue.
Only coming to realize that their assistance was limited, at one point they got tired of you and they could utterly throw you away.
Hear all that cry, “who is going to rescue you?”
The one you are going to is also having their own struggles. Who is going to help you?
I want us to look at the word of God, children of God. As much as you still depend on people, what you will harvest from them is disappointment
Human ability to rescue you is limited, humans have got limitations, they can promise something to you, who knows whether they just talk out of their ignorance 🤔🤔
I want you to look back into the word of God. The Bible says “our help is in the name of the Lord”
“Whose name do you carry?”
Whose name are you calling?
“Name means personality and character “
Now hear me child of God there is something that Jesus is saying 👇🏻👇🏻👇🏻
John 14:14
[14]If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it.
Look at that word again, it doesn’t say by my name but He says “IN my name”
Are you dwelling in the name of Jesus?
Whose name are you recognized with, is it the name of Jesus, or the name of your uncles?
Child of God, have this discipline of calling upon the name of the Lord. Your salvation is there.
We are so good at calling other names first before we remember the name of the Lord. We approach situations with the names of other people,
We approach issues with the names of our lacks of money. We know well how to approach needs with the names of our parents. (My so and so will do this, let me call my so and so, let me text so and so, so and so never sent me money this is the reason I’m like this, my mom this my dad that)
Have you ever tried calling upon the name of Jesus the very first moment you are facing a difficult situation? We call the names of money, only coming to remember the name of Jesus after all have failed.
Have you ever tried to call upon your creator?
The very moment there is something you don’t understand, have this discipline, run to Jesus Christ first, after you have run to him then from Him you begin to arrest your issues.
Let the instructions of how you are going to get out of that difficult situation, come from Jesus Christ first.
Remember what the bible says “our help is IN the name of the Lord”
The name of Jesus is a location made ready for a child of God.
And from that very location ( when you are in the name of Jesus Christ) we begin dealing with our matters, the instructions of how to arrest situations comes when we operate from a place called JESUS.
Don’t treat Jesus at the end of all your trying. No learn to discuss matters with Him before you attempt anything else, let everything else be a means of Jesus helping you.
Child of God, your safety is only found in one place , THE NAME OF THE LORD. Call upon that name and be safe.
You won’t be disappointed in that name. Try it now, try the name of Jesus now
I’m sure you haven’t called upon that name, try calling upon His name now. Child of God
He is the only help for you, don’t look at people, look upon God He is ready for you.
