Preparatory (reason for learning) ~part B
……even God Himself never created anything that He created by His power, but the Bible says He created all these by His wisdom and knowledge
Yes I know that you will tell me that God created things by His WORD, yes you are very correct,
But you will need to tell me who is the word? The answer is simple, the word is Jesus Christ then I will ask you again who is Jesus? And then you will tell me that He is the son of God/ God Himself then I will ask you. Who is the son of God?… Then here we will be talking some sense….. let’s flow…..
Proverbs 8:22-25
[22]The LORD possessed me in the beginning of his way, before his works of old.
[23]I was set up from everlasting, from the beginning, or ever the earth was.
[24]When there were no depths, I was brought forth; when there were no fountains abounding with water.
[25]Before the mountains were settled, before the hills was I brought forth:

1 Corinthians 1:24
[24]But unto them which are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God, and the wisdom of God.
Now we know Christ is the wisdom of God, so in the book of proverbs the wisdom there is Jesus Christ, wow
I’m not here to talk about this but I want to at least show a way on how to access the understanding of God, because almost all of us are reading the Bible, but how come we come out different from each other in terms of intensity (undani) of revelation?
Reading the Bible is very important but how you read it matters a lot
There was a day that Jesus met with a certain lawyer, and the lawyer stood up and asked him “what shall I do to inherit eternal life?“ (Luke 10: 25)
And Jesus knowing exactly what was wrong with these lawyers was not the fact that they have read and crammed (memorised) the whole law. But their style of reading, they way of reading
The question that was asked by that lawyer, was not a question that he was supposed to ask according to his level of education, according to his certificate and mastery that he was holding in the Torah, he was not supposed to ask such a question
Hear me, whenever you are asked any question, don’t just answer questions because they are questions, but answer the one asking the question
Questions are not just questions because they are asked, but they become questions according to the one asking them
Personalities behind questions matter a lot
If you answer a question by answering the question itself, then you will have answered the question but you have not answered the person
And if you answer the question without answering the person then you will not have satisfied the need in a person asking the question.
So the question asked by the lawyer, was not really a suitable question for him to ask Jesus, according to his position and level of education
And when Jesus heard the question He never rushed to answer the question, but He was able to detect what was making the lawyer to ask him such a question, He noticed something missing in the lawyer and He was focused on dealing with something else apart from the question asked
Then in Luke 10: 26 here comes the thing itself…👇🏼👇🏼👇🏼
[26]He said unto him, What is written in the law? how readest thou?
Jesus is asking “what is written in the law? how do you read the written law? Now the answer that the lawyer gave was for the first question “what is written in the law?“ The second question required Jesus to assist him to get to that understanding..
In his answers, he said something like ” love your neighbor as you love yourself” ( Verse 29) then Jesus was about to leave him hanging by telling him “do the same and you will live“ (Verse 30).
It is as if Jesus wanted to leave him like that, but the reality is that, Jesus was raising an environment for the lawyer to realize what he never knew concerning what he said.
And then a room was left for him to understand the second question “how readest thou?“ And then he realized that there was more to learn concerning a certain word neighbor and he asked “who is my neighbor?“. And then that was the target…
And after he asked that then Jesus was like wow that’s it, now we are talking. And then way of reading that scripture was made clear.
Now coming to my point, everyone here is reading the Bible, but the question is “how do you read your Bible?“ That is what makes us different in revelation.
Understanding the Bible is more important than just having it as a Christian.
So get ready, we are going to study the Bible, in a way that will amaze you
